WHEN SHOULD I GET MY MACROS ADJUSTED?
Let us start off by saying if it's working, DON'T change it. Don't fix something that isn't broken. This question all depends on the person and situation, but here is when you would want to consider adjusting your macros. Here are some instances where you would want to consider an adjustment:
â– If you have hit a plateau in your weight loss/inches lost. Your body will eventually adapt to the food you are eating and soon it may no longer produce the desired weight loss. In this case we would tweak your numbers with a slight adjustment. Often this is enough to get you moving again.

â– When you have lost a significant amount of weight. Again this is personalized on how much you have lost and what your goal is. Once again if you've lost a ton of weight and your macros are no longer working for you, then an adjustment may be needed. Simple changes, like bringing you up to your TDEE numbers for a few weeks then back down to a deficit is an example.

â– If your goals have changed. Your numbers of calculated on the exercise you give in your questionnaire. If you exercise routine drastically changes for the better or worse, you may need an adjustment.

â– If your energy level has tanked or you don't feel as good as you could. This would need attention brought to it and a tweak of your macros.
