Day #3 of our "how to get started on a macro life".......
Once you have obtained your macro numbers ( day #1) and bought a scale (day #2 ), IT'S TIME TO EAT!!! ๐ฝ

๐This is where we get asked a ton of questions about what we eat. It's very simple. We eat whatever we want as long as it fits in our macros. NOTHING is off limits. That is the beauty of iifym. Now with that being said, we do make healthy choices 80% of the day. It order to get more food to eat during the day you have to make wise choices.
Our fat macros are usually the first to go, so we eat a lot of fat free items. We prefer to use our fat on PB or Nutella. We both eat a ton of carbs a day, but if you make wise choices on foods lower in carbs, you just get to eat that much more food. ๐๐จ
Going to the store the first two weeks after starting iifym can be very frustrating, but we promise with time it gets easier. It takes work, but it is worth it. You want to look at the 3 macros ( protein, carbs, fats) when shopping and choosing your foods. Looking at the nutritional values on the back of everything is just second nature to us now.
People have asked us to make menus for them, but in all honesty it's something that you can do because nothing is off limits. Just remember the lower the macros are the more food you get.
This is why on breads we choose the lowest one in carbs and Fats so we get more breads/grains during the day. It's simply wonderful!! ๐
