Q & A: Do we have a cheat meal?

Question and Answer Series:

"Do you all ever have a cheat meal?" 😂

We are asked quite often if we have a cheat meal. The answer to this is Yes and No.

With counting macros, since nothing is off limits to eat, we don't really have to have a cheat meal. If we want something, we eat it as long as it fits our macros. If we know we want ice cream or something sweet we will make better choices throughout the day so we can still enjoy those treats.

About once every two weeks or so we will eat at our maintenance macros where we can increase our macros to the amount we would eat if we were trying to maintain our current weight. This is also called a refeed. (We are both on a cut right now.)

In honor of the Super Bowl, we are doing a refeed tonight and the cheese dip was fabulous, without any regrets tomorrow. 👊👆 #gofalcons

So in short, there is no need to call it a cheat day because we can eat whatever foods we want on a daily basis.
